About Our Founder
Choose2Heal was founded by Natasha, an occupational therapist, group facilitator, and author with a deep passion for trauma-informed emotional wellness. Her work combines professional knowledge with lived experience, creating gentle, practical tools that help people understand themselves, regulate their emotions, and reconnect with who they truly are.
Through therapeutic journals and emotional wellness resources, Choose2Heal offers a safe space for reflection, emotional awareness, and healing. These tools are designed for the moments when life feels overwhelming, when therapy is fully booked, or when someone simply needs a quiet place to offload, breathe, and begin making sense of what they feel.
Choose2Heal is not a replacement for therapy. It is a supportive companion. A place to pause, reflect, regulate, and begin healing at your own pace.
Natasha’s deeper reason for creating Choose2Heal comes from her own healing journey. For many years, she felt lost and disconnected from herself while living through a painful and toxic marriage. She smiled, laughed, and pretended to be okay, while inside she was slowly falling apart. Over time, the weight of pretending became too heavy, and anxiety turned her world upside down.
A turning point came when Natasha shared her story during a group training session with colleagues. In that safe and supportive space, she allowed herself to be honest for the first time. She recognised that she was deserving of healing, and she made the intentional decision to choose herself.
By lowering her defences, reflecting truthfully, and accepting the reality of her pain, Natasha began the journey back to herself. Her wound became part of her purpose, reminding her that healing often begins when we feel safe enough to be honest.
Choose2Heal exists to offer others that same gentle invitation. A space to reflect without judgement, reconnect with themselves, and take the first brave step toward healing, wholeness, and hope.
